6 Shooter

I am seeing more and more energy shots popping up lately.  This doesn't bother me because energy shots can sometimes be more convenient and practical than energy drinks at times.  Less liquid to consume, quicker effects, and same kick...what is not to like?  Today I will be taking a look at an energy shot called 6 Shooter.

The Look:  6 Shooter comes in a traditional shaped 2 oz bottle.  The bottle is shrink wrapped very nicely in a glossy black wrapper.  On the front of the bottle they have some claims about the shot as well as mentions of the key ingredients.  In the center there is an interesting design done with 2 horse, a tribal design, 6 stars, and the words 6 Shooter in middle.  Flipping it around there is the nutritional information you would expect on a shot.  I am quite impressed with the quality of the shrink wrap.  The design might be a bit out of the ordinary but it look quite slick on the great quality shrink wrap.

Taste:  The taste on 6 Shooter is listed as Berry.  Berry is a pretty common flavor among energy shots so I was not worried at worried at all.  Upon first sip (yes I sip energy shots when reviewing them) I got a very lightly sweetened taste.  It has a berry flavor that you would expect from an energy shot but without the sourness I associate with 5 Hour Energy.  I would put this a tad bit above your average shot in terms of flavor.

Does It Work:  Looking at the ingredient list I can see that 6 Shooter has all the good stuff in it.  Each shot contains: 150 mg of caffeine (nice for a shot), some large quantities of B Vitamins, panax ginseng extract, 0 grams of sugar, and 0 calories.  Along with the usual blend of energy shot ingredients there is also vitamin D3, goji berry extract, and maca root extract.  After drinking one of these down I was filled with an impressive amount of energy.  This is definitely stronger than your average shot without going overboard and giving you jitters.  They claim on the bottle it provides 6 hours of energy.  I didn't get 6 hours of energy out of the bottle but I did get a very strong 4 hours from the shot with no crash.  I was rather impressed about the strength of the shot.

Overall Thoughts:  6 Shooter was a shot that I had never heard of.  Truth be told it is a great shot that is worth trying if you get the chance.  I am impressed with the look of the shot and the kick was great.  If you happen to get the chance to try out a 6 Shooter then let me know your thoughts on the product.

I love this shot! This says it all coming from someone who hates energy drinks of any form. I like it because it gives me a clean burst of energy just when I need without the nasty side effects and without the nasty taste! This tastes refreshingly berrytastic!!
