The Look: Kickbutt Amped Energy Ballz can be purchased individually wrapped or in a plastic tube that contains 4 Ballz. There are 3 flavors to choose from: Cherry, Cappuccino, and the newest edition Grape. Each tube is covered in a plastic wrap that is a different color depending on the flavor. They throw all the usual stuff on the packaging such as the product name, nutritional information, and a few facts about the product. The container is also resealable which is nice so you don't have to eat all 4 at once.

Taste: I was a little skeptical about how these would taste when I tried my first one. Each ball has a soft center that is filled with what taste like a tootsie roll. Covering the soft center there is a very thin and crunchy candy coating. Together this combination taste pretty damn good. Imagine a tootsie roll coated with the same crunchy shell as an M&M.
Cherry: The first flavor I tried was cherry. It has a very nice cherry tasting shell that goes great with the center. (8.5 out of 10)
Grape: Grape is my personal favorite of the flavors. The center taste the same as the others but the grape candy shell compliments the center perfectly. (9.5 out of 10)
Cappuccino: The last flavor I tried was the cappuccino. I don't care for cappuccino flavored items but I found it to be pretty good. (7.5 out of 10)
Does It Work: Inside each Kickbutt Amped Energy Ball(z) there are 40 calories, 6 g of carbs (4 g of sugar), 3 grams of whey protein, 40 mg of caffeine, B vitamins, and a small amount of vitamin C. The first time I tried them I ended up eating 3 which provided a pretty solid boost from the 120 mg of caffeine and the protein. If you eat just one of these I wouldn't expect to much but once you have 2 or 3 you will be feeling pretty good. From 3 of them the kick lasted about 3 hours and there was no crash at the end.

Overall Thoughts: Kickbutt Amped Energy Ballz left me pretty impressed. I can see all kinds of great uses for these. For students these would be a great late night studying pick me up. For gamers you have a great snack that won't leave your controller greasy but will keep you up all night fragging n00bs. The outdoors crowd will really appreciated the added whey protein as well as the caffeine boost. I think these are definitely worth checking out.
