ZUN Lite

A while back I reviewed a drink called ZUN.  ZUN easily had one of the most unique bottle designs I have ever seen and a taste that you had to experience for yourself.  Now ZUN is back with ZUN Lite which is the low carb version of the the ZUN line.  If ZUN Lite is anything like then original than I am in for a treat.



The Look:  ZUN Lite keeps the awesome rocket ship look but ditches the red coloring for  a light blue this time.  On the front they have a little stick figure guy (they refer to him as Major Tom) with a rocket ship shooting from his head.  The label "brain boosting energy" is underneath the stick figure along with "out of this world".  They advertise the fact that blue agave is used to sweeten the drink and that it is low calorie.  You will not mistake this for any other drink when it is sitting on the shelves in the coolers.

Taste:  Aside from the awesome packaging, my favorite thing about the original ZUN was the amazing taste.  When I opened up ZUN Lite I could tell immediately the same flavor was used.  The only flavor I can make out in the fantastic beverage is the banana flavor.  I have yet to have an energy drink that taste anything like this.  I still cannot pin point the flavor of any of the ZUNs but I can tell you that they are one of the best tasting energy drinks out there.  I actually found myself craving the flavor of these after I finished the samples I had for review.  Another fantastic job here on the flavor.

Does It Work:  ZUN and ZUN Lite both have one of the most unique buzzes I have experienced.  This is the only drink that I have had that truly increases my focus.  I don't know exactly how to explain it but my brain really seems to be functioning easier and working more efficiently after drinking one of these down.  Inside each ZUN Lite there are 20 calories, 4 g of sugar, vitamin E, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, 110 mg of caffeine, taurine, choline, and coenzyme Q10.  All these ingredients work together to give you a nice boost of energy along with enhanced concentration levels.

Overall Thoughts:  It is not very often that a drink as unique as ZUN Lite comes along.  Everything about this drink sets it apart from any other.  The packaging is one of a kind, the taste is delectable, and the buzz is in it's own category.  These are starting to pop up at 7-11s and Kum and Gos everywhere.  If you are able to grab one of these excellent rock shipped shaped drinks, then I suggest you don't hesitate to buy it.
