Liquid Nitro is the subject of today's review. It comes in two varieties: original and low carb. I knew very little about this drink but I was intrigued after reading some information on it.
The Look: Liquid Nitro is a good example of how simple packaging can be made to look really good. The can itself is two toned where the top is silver and the bottom is black. In the center the product name is displayed vertically. I like how they inverted the color of the background when doing the name Liquid Nitro. The regular has the word Nitro done in red and the low carb has the word Nitro done in blue. On the back there is nothing exciting just the usual nutritional information. There is something about the 2 tone can that I really like.

Taste: Liquid Nitro has a refined energy drink taste. By that I mean they took a Monster type of flavor and did a twist on it. The flavors are more pronounced and it has a slightly sweeter taste to it. I noticed the vanilla flavoring was a little more dominant than other similar drinks and it worked very well. The original and low carb vary just slightly in taste. Also if you are looking for an energy drink to mix with alcohol, I would highly suggest this.
(8.5 out of 10) Low Carb
(8 out of 10) Original
Does It Work: Liquid Nitro is fueld with 180 mg of caffeine, taurine, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, inositol, panax ginseng, ginko biloba and gotu kola. After drinking both of these down I got a surprising kick from them. After I finished the can I was overcome with a very nice amount of energy that lasted a good 4 hours.
(8 out 10)
Overall Thoughts: Liquid Nitro was pretty good. The packaging is top notch, the flavor is good, and the kick is above average. One of the only downsides to this drink is that it isn't available locally so I can't have one anytime I want. Liquid Nitro gets the Caffeine A Holic's seal of approval.
