Monster Energy Zero Ultra

Many of the big name players in energy drinks have some new flavors on the horizon.  One of the most notable is Monster Energy.  They are coming to the table with 2 new drinks: Monster Energy Zero Ultra and Monster Energy Cuba Lima.  Today I will be taking on Monster Energy Zero Ultra.

The Look:  First off let me say, I seriously love this new can.  The white can stands out very nicely on the shelf and the textured can feels great in your hand.  This is possibly one of the best looking energy drink cans I have had.
You have the usual Monster passage on the back explaining their reasoning behind creating Monster Energy Zero Ultra and the supplement facts beside that.
The only gripe I have about the can is the fact that Monster still hides the caffeine content in their "energy blend".

Taste:  Upon opening the can, I got a nice citrus scent that filled the air.  It reminded me of drinking Fresca when I was younger.
The flavor to me is a mix between Sprite Zero and Fresca.  I found the flavor to be very refreshing and quite thirst quenching.  The light carbonation along with the light flavor, have made this one of my new favorite "go to" energy drinks.  I was very happy to see Monster stray away from the traditional energy drink flavor on this one.

Does It Work:  If you have ever had a Monster Energy Drink you know what kind of energy to expect.  Monster Zero Ultra is really no exception.  Each can is powered by 0 calories, several B vitamins, and a dose of a Monster Energy Blend.  After finishing the can I got a nice clean energy boost that lasted the usual 3-4 hours with no crash.

Overall Thoughts:  Monster Energy Zero Ultra is a home run in my opinion.  They have created a great tasting 0 calorie drink with fantastic packaging and a nice kick.  If you are a fan of Monster and/or a fan of citrus drinks this is a must try drink.  Unfortunately, I don't have the same enthusiasm for the new Monster Cuba Lima (review soon).......

Ubermonster

Even though I get to try 100s of energy products a year, I still get excited like a little kid when one of the big boys in the energy drink world come out with a new product.  Monster has recently released a "bio-activated energy brew" that actually uses the same technology used to brew beer.  Luckily for me I was able to find one of these on the shelf and get it a try.

Tweak Extreme

Very seldom does an energy drink make me nervous about drinking the entire bottle.  Well a drink called Tweak Extreme comes plastered with more warning labels than any other drink I have tried.  I was lucky enough to get my hands on all 3 flavors, so let's see if Tweak lives up to the hype.

TapouT Energy

TapouT, surely you have heard of them by now.  You cannot walk through any crowded place right now without seeing someone wearing a TapouT shirt or other TapouT apparel.  Well the same brand associated with MMA is now breaking into the energy drink world.  Right now they have 3 flavors out with another one in the works.  Let's see how TapouT does in the energy drink realm.

Rockstar 2X Energy

In case you haven't heard Rockstar recently released 2 new drinks.  I reviewed Rockstar Pink the other day and today I will be taking on Rockstar 2X Energy.  Rockstar 2X Energy is a low carb drink that manages to cram 250 mg of caffeine inside a 12 oz can.  Let's see if Rockstar has another winning drink on their hands.

Blutonium WaterBerry

Blutonium.  I know it sounds like some undiscovered element but it is in fact a delicious energy drink.  A company named Folsom Distributing out of Illinois are the people behind this oddly, yet unique named energy drink.  Let's take a look at what Blutonium is all about.

Monster Dub Edition

Finally after endless searching I finally managed to get a hold of a Monster Dub Edition for review.  I would think that a drink by a company as big as Monster would be easier to find....

Kronik Dragon Berry

It is back !!!  Kronik has decided to revive the Dragon Berry flavor.  I am personally excited about this because I love berry tasting energy drinks.  The protein has been dropped this time around and it is in the form of an all out energy drink.

Cold Beverage Technology

I was recently contacted by Cold Beverage Technology.  They wanted to get my opinion on the products that they offers.  Cold Beverage Technology produces fountain soda energy drinks as well as shots that can be added to your drinks.  I love the concept of being able to get a 44 oz energy drink in a styrofoam cup, now let's see how the drinks taste and how well they perform.

XL and XL Sugar Free

While searching around the internet for energy drinks, I ran across an older drink that I had not tried yet.  The name of the drink is XL.  I contacted the company and they were very kind and hooked me up with some samples.  They sent me 3 flavors all together I will be reviewing the original and sugar free in this review (look for the cranberry flavor review soon).

Wave Energy Drink Sugar Free

It has been a long day. I managed to get spaghetti sauce all over my pants (ruined them) and washed my Iphone 4 (managed to dry it out). Luckily in my day there has been one good thing that has happened to me and that is drinking a Wave Sugar Free.

Go Fast Z17

Nothing more fun that going back to work after a 3 day holiday weekend.  I knew I would be dragging ass so I threw a Go Fast in the 'fridge for in the morning.  Let's see if Go Fast Z17 helped get me going this morning.

I was a little worried about this drink at first because of the word organic.  Usually anything with the word organic translates to not good in my experiences.  Let's see if Hype can change my view on organic products.

Cocaine and Cocaine Mild

After trying and trying, I have finally found a way to get Cocaine.  Apparently due to some laws the sale of Cocaine is banned in Texas.  This made finding Cocaine energy drink harder than finding the actual drug.  Luckily I was able to get several cans of Cocaine and Cocaine Mild.

If you want some killer beef jerky then Texas Best Smokehouse is the place to go.  I stopped by there on a trip recently back from Dallas and spotted an energy drink that was Texas Best Smokehouse brand so I went ahead a purchased one out of curiosity.

This weekend I found a few energy drinks that I have not tried yet and some I have not even heard of.  I will be reviewing all of them this week but today I will be reviewing Quake Lo-Carb.  The can looks fairly generic and judging by the color scheme and ingredient list I am guessing this is a Monster Clone.

Monster Import Light

Today I was on my way home and decided to stop by a gas station that I rarely stop at.  I was browsing the energy drink selection( like I usually do when I go inside the gas station) when I spotted the new Monster Import Light.
