Kronik Energy Vengence

Today I got my hands on a pretty well known player in the energy drink game, Kronik.  I look forward to giving this product a try, I have heard many good things about them and finally get to see for myself.  Let's see if Kronik can get me addicted.

The Look:  Kronik Vengence comes in a black can with green and white lettering.   Underneath the product name we get what looks to be a barbed wire graphic in the same green font as the drink name.  At the bottom of the can there is a pretty good slogan, "Caution: Vengence is best served cold".  On the opposite side of the can there is the nutritional information along with a few paragraphs about this particular flavor of Kronik.  I like the package here, it is slick looking with an edge to it .

Taste: The flavor here is very clean.  It has a very slight citrus taste to it with minimum carbonation.  I finished the drink quickly because it tasted good. Not really a lot for me to say about the taste here.  Just a simple citrus that doesn't taste like an energy drink.  There is no caffeine taste and no bitter aftertaste.

Does It Work:   Shortly after consuming the can I got a very nice lift in energy almost instantly, The drink is powered by 220 calories, 54g of sugar, 150mg of caffeine, 2000mg of taurine, and a good number of vitamins.  I would of liked to seen a little bit more caffeine here, I usually think of 200mg per can as the magic number.  I have no complaints here the drink did it's job and gave me a nice boost this morning that lasted well into the afternoon with no crash.

Final Thoughts:  I am impressed here with my first taste of the Kronik lineup and I cannot wait to sample the other offerings they have.  I highly recommend if you see this drink to pick one up and give it a try.  There is a website avaiable to check out with information and where to buy at : Kronik Energy.  I hope to be able to get my hands on some of their protein infused energy drinks in the future to review.
