No Current Contest
The Look: Dragon Joose comes at us in a pretty cool containers comprised of black, purple, and white. The have a really cool looking tribal dragon surrounding the brand name of Joose on the front. There is also some mention of the faction that Joose is a caffeinated premium malt beverage. I think they did a great job on the pack here.

Taste: After my last review of Four Loko Watermelon I am a little worried about the taste here. Opening it up I am greeted with a very nice grape aroma. Almost like a Welche's grape juice or something similar. Taking a drink I am pleasantly surprised here. First off you get the grape flavor followed by a fairly strong taste of alcohol. Yes you can taste the alcohol but compared to a lot of other drinks out there they did a great job.

Does It Work: Dragon Joose is 9.9% alc/vol. Along with the alcohol in the can we also get the addition of ginseng, caffeine, taurine, and a few other ingredients. I didn't get as messed up off of Dragon Joose as I did Four Loko, but I still got one hell of a buzz. Most beers are about 5% alc/vol so this is twice that and it comes at us in a 24 oz can. You basically get 4 beers in here plus the added affect of caffeine.

Overall Thoughts: Joose has became my new favorite energy/alcohol beverage (aside from Jager bombs). I found these at the local liquor store for about 2.50. So really you are getting a lot of bang for your buck with these. You can check out a bit of information about Joose on the web at: Joose.
