Kronik Low Carb

What do you do when things aren't looking good for your company? You release some new flavors and prove all the doubters wrong.  That is what Kronik is doing and they are better than ever.  Today I will be taking on Kronik Low Carb (Looks like it is now renamed Blue Citrus Low Carb).



The Look:  Kronik Low Carb comes at us in a silver can with blue graphics and black lettering.  They have a blue piece of barbed wired that gives the can an edgier look.  Also on the front it has the slogan: "Caution: May Suppress Appetite."  Overall a great can and I like that they changed the can color to represent the drink being sugar free.

Taste:  Low carb drinks can be tricky to get to taste good.  Luckily, Kronik was up to the task and made a low carb drink that didn't taste low carb.  The dominant flavor present taste like grapefruit.  Image a Fresca if you would, that is a very close description.  There is no hint of caffeine or vitamins anywhere to be found in the drink.  Great job on the low carb drink Kronik!

Does It Work:  I started drinking on the can as soon as I got to work.  About halfway through the can I noticed my energy levels were starting to increase and my eyes were starting to open a bit.  After about 20 minutes I finished the entire can and I was overcome by a surprising buzz.  The kick from this drink lasted me until after lunch time.  I was very pleasantly surprised from the kick I got from Kronik Low Carb.  Powering the can there are: 150mg of caffeine, 20 calories, 2000mg of taurine, B vitamins, vitamin C, ginkgo, ginseng, guarana, and a few other ingredients that lead to a great performing drink.

Overall Thoughts:  Kronik has proven to me that they can produce a wonderful low carb drink.  After finishing the can I was wishing the can was bigger.  This is a fantastic drink that anyone who is watching their calories or anyone that loves energy drinks needs to try.  You can check them out on their website at Kronik Energy.  If you get the chance to try a Kronik let me know your thoughts.
