Vuka Awaken Orange

I was feeling tired this morning
So I went to my stash
I wanted some energy
So I didn't crash
A Vuka Awaken I spotted
From the corner of my eye
I put it in the 'fridge
So I can give it a try

The Look:  The Vuka lineup produces some of the most beautiful containers for energy drinks.  Vuka Awaken is no exception.  It comes at us in another beautiful brushed aluminum 16 oz bottle.  This one is done in a copper/orange color to represent the orange flavor.  After you screw off the cap there is a plastic mouth piece so you don't have to put your lips on the bottle itself.  Pictures do not do these bottles justice, you need to get one just to see how nice they look.

Taste:  Vuka Awaken is labeled as an orange energy juice.  I open it up and am greeted with the wonderful aroma of orange juice.  I take a drink and it taste just like orange juice.  Vuka did a great job here with the perfect balance of juice and drink.  These work great in the morning as a replacement for orange juice.

Does It Work:  Vuka Awaken is powered by 180 Calories, 44g of sugar, Vitamins: A, C, E, B6, and B12, Niacin, Calcium, Zinc, Pantothenic Acid, 160mg of caffeine, panax ginseng root, white tea polyphenols, and grape seed extract.  They managed to cram a bunch of really health stuff inside this bottle.   Vuka Awaken is easily on par with Monster, Redbull, and Rockstar with the kick.

Overall Thoughts:  Vuka has once again done very well with Vuka Awaken.  The packaging on these is top notch, the flavor is very tasty, and the kick is pretty decent.  You can check them out on the web at: Vuka.  One of my favorite things about these drinks is that after I am done with it, it makes a killer water bottle for the rest of the day.  If anyone tries any of the Vuka lineup, please let me know your thoughts about the drink.
