Wave Energy Drink Sugar Free

It has been a long day. I managed to get spaghetti sauce all over my pants (ruined them) and washed my Iphone 4 (managed to dry it out). Luckily in my day there has been one good thing that has happened to me and that is drinking a Wave Sugar Free.

The Look:  The can is done in a blue and silver color. I like how the silver makes the appearance of a wave as it turns into the blue. On the front they have the brand name of "Wave" and they also promote it being "all natural flavors". Turning it around there is a short passage about the company, nutritional information, and an ingredient list. The can looks very nice and the only complaints I have are that the caffeine content is not listed and I would of liked to of seen a slogan printed on the can.

Taste:  Opening up the can I got a typical energy drink smell (Red Bull). The liquid inside is a very nice light purple color that caught me off guard considering the smell. The drink has some elements of Red Bull flavor but with much less gumminess and a twist that actually taste better in my opinion. The carbonation is perfect and makes this not only tasty but refreshing as well.

Does It Work:  Inside each can of Wave Sugar Free there is some B vitamins, taurine, caffeine (undisclosed amount), inositol, l-lysine, choline, and guarana. The entire can is only 20 calories and of course contains no sugar. After drinking this down I started to get a very nice lift from it that was certainly above your average energy drink. The kick from Wave Sugar free lasted about 4 hours and ended with no crash.

Overall Thoughts:  Wave really impressed me. I love the packaging, the taste is fantastic, and the kick is a cut above most energy drink. If you happen to spot one of these at the store I can easily recommend that you try it out. I also have the original version of Wave and I will review it very soon.

I bought this drink at Kroger (on sale) and popped it when I got home. I thought it tasted closer to a Four than a Redbull.
