Today I am lucky enough to get my hands on another Canadian energy drink. I will be tackling Rage Affliction for my review today. A big thanks to Thirstmonger.com for allowing me to try out the Rage lineup.
The Look: There is a bunch of stuff going on all over the can. On the front the have a giant R that dominates a good portion of the can. Underneath that we get the brand name Rage, the flavor Affliction and the phrase Ultimate Energy. Up at the top the have a list around the edge of some of the ingredients inside. Turning it around there is usage warnings and then ingredient list in English and French. Very busy can with a lot going on but I think it ties together fairly well. Very edgy look that grabs attention.

Taste: Rage Affliction taste like a fruit punch with a heavy dose of cherry added to it. The flavor is really very tasty. The only downfall the drink has is there is a weird type of aftertaste to it. The aftertaste is not very noticeable and quickly disappears but it is there. There is a good amount of carbonation to the drink that compliments the flavor quite nicely.

Does It Work: I have no idea how many calories or how many grams of sugar are inside (it is not listed). They do however list the energy ingredients: 2000 mg of taurine, 160 mg of caffeine, 400 mg of ginseng, creatine, a good amount of B vitamins, and a handful of other ingredients. After drinking this down in the early hours I became wide awake. The combination of stuff they used inside makes for a very nice energy boost. I got a good 4 hours of energy out of this can with no crash.

Overall Thoughts: So after my first sampling of Rage energy drinks I am fairly impressed. They have a nice hardcore design on the can, the taste is pretty good, and the kick is above average. If this variety is any indication then I am going to greatly enjoy the other varieties of Rage I have for review. You can buy these by the case from my good friend at Thirstmonger.com for a very good price. The company also has a website that you can check out at Rageliquidenergy.com. Look for the review of the other flavors of Rage coming very soon.
I would also like to give credit to What I drink at work for the picture (I could not for the life of me find an image anywhere).
