Bull Tonik

Today I have my hands on a pretty neat product from overseas.  I will be taking on Bull Tonik tablets.  These are pretty cool, you just add them to water and "bam" you have an energy drink.  On to the review.....

The Look:  Bull Tonik comes in a resealable tube about 7-8 inches long.  The package is done in red and yellow with a silhouette of a bull on the front.  On the back there is nutritional information as well as usage instructions.

Taste:  With a name like Bull Tonik you can bet this will be a Red Bull Clone.  It is actually a pretty tasty drink though.  The tabs mixed very well in water and there were no chunks of anything  in the drink.  Take a sugar free Red Bull and cut the carbonation a bit and that describes the drink pretty well.  It says you can mix these with your favorite drink but I chose to just stick with water.

Does It Work:  Bull Tonik contains (per 2 tabs): 160 mg of caffeine, 1000 mg of taurine, 1000 mg of vitamin C, glucuronolactone, inositol,  and 4 different B vitamins.  I drank 2 glasses (1 tablet in each glass) during the course of about an hour.  After my first glass I got a very nice alertness and after my second glass was gone I was feeling pretty good this morning.  These is easily on par with your standard 16 oz each drink with no crash afterwards.

Overall Thoughts:  Bull Tonik is a great product.  I can't wait until the weekend so I can try it out in some Jager Bombs.  Pretty cool concept being able to carry the equivalent of  10 energy drinks inside your pocket. This gets the Caffeine A Holic's thumbs up!

I wasn't so in love with this one. It's cheaper than red bull but serve it warm and it's like drinking a red bull that's been sitting in the car for two days.
