Stay Puft Caffeinated Marshmallows

When life hand's you caffeinated marshmallows,  you should make ....caffeinated smores.  I see a bunch of things when it comes to the world of caffeine but caffeinated marshmallows are a first.  Not only are these bad boys caffeinated but they state there is over 100 mg of caffeine per marshmallow....



The Look:  A bunch of time went into the packaging of Stay Puft.  The material of the box is a very soft rubbery material that almost feels like a marshmallow.  On the front they have a graphic of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man perched above a blue ribbon that goes around the middle.  On the back there are some recipes to fully enjoy your caffeinated marshmallows.  Along with the recipes there is nutrition facts and a bit about the company.  This box truly is a beautiful container that I will be keeping long after that marshmallows are all gone.  The only reason I am not giving this is a ten is because I think each tray should be individually wrapped inside to keep them fresh.

Taste:  When I opened up the packaging I was greeted by a wonderful marshmallow smell.  I wasted no time and tried out a marshmallow as soon as the package arrived.  They label these as gourmet marshmallows and I am not going to argue after trying them.  These blow regular marshmallows out of the water and almost seemed to melt in your mouth.  There is absolutely no caffeine taste any where inside these and you will find yourself eating more than one easily.  The possibility for these things are endless: smores, hot chocolate, fudge, or whatever else great creation you can think of.  All other marshmallows should  bow down to Stay Puft!

Does It Work:  On Thinkgeek.com they claim there is a bit over 100 mg of caffeine per 'mallow.  Along with the caffeine there is 9g of sugar per serving as well as 40 calories.  Nothing better than the great combination of sugar and caffeine!  After 1 of these you will start to feel a bit more awake.  After 2 of these you will be wide awake. ..And after 3 or 4 of these you will be full on wired.  Do yourself a favor and take out about 3 or so and hide the rest of the box.  You might think I am joking but I could easily eat down this whole box and I wouldn't regret it until the caffeine kicked in.

Overall Thoughts:  Stay Puft Caffeinated Marshmallows not only exceeded my expectations, they smashed them.  You get a gourmet marshmallow that taste exceptional, you get a killer container that is a Ghost Busters collectible, and you can get yourself over caffeinated in a hurry.  The price might is a bit steep at $20 a box but if you have the extra cash, I say go for it!
