Celsius Orange

I would like to start off this review by apologizing for not taking this drink seriously.  When I got this package I thought this was going to be some gimmick energy drink, I was wrong.  Let's see what Celsius Orange has to offer shall we.

The Look:  Not to big on the can here.  It just doesn't appeal to me.  The can is done in an orange and blue background.  On the front is the company name of Celsius with a claim that it burns up to 100 calories.  On the back is nutritional information as well as a lists of all all the claims that Celsius makes.  Overall the can serves its purpose it just doesn't scream at me or anything.

Taste:  Celsius is a low calorie, no carb, low sodium, and no preservative drink so I am a little worried about taste.  My worries quickly subside upon my first sip.  If you have ever had a diet orange soda that is what this taste like.  This stuff is very tasty.  There is no caffeine taste or vitamin aftertaste in this drink.  Pretty good job here for such a healthy drink.  I did require some water afterwards to cure the dry mouth it caused.

Does It Work:  This is why I offered my apology at the beginning.  I was not expecting anything special from this drink, once again I was wrong.  Shortly after drinking this I got a hell of a rush from it.  I got a buzz well above average from Celsius.  They don't list the caffeine amount on the can so I went searching the informative web.  Turns out they crammed 200mg of caffeine in this 12 oz can, that explains a bunch.  There is a lot more than just caffeine powering Celsius though. We get biotin, niacin, taurine, guarana, and a bunch of other good things in here to really make for a good kick.  Now I can't vouch that you will burn 100 calories from this drink but I can say you will be ready to do stuff.   I got a strong buzz that lasted well over 4 hours.

Overall Thoughts:   OK this stuff rocks.  Sure they might not have a fancy can but they make up for it by what is inside.  Celsius Orange delivers us a good tasting drink with a fantastic kick.  If you are looking for a low carb, healthier energy drink you should check out Celsius.  You can check them out on the web at : Celsius Energy.  When I dive into my next sampling of Celsius I will not have my guard down and I will take it seriously.

The can does resemble something you would give out at a preschool jamboree, though from your review that would be a bad thing, unless hyper kids are you thing. Have I read this right, that the drink BURNS calories as in it uses them up?

The drink is formulated to boost your metabolism. This in return can burn "up to" 100 calories. I can't say if this was the case but I was seriously amped up this morning.

I’m always suspicious of things that “Boost” your metabolism

love the stuff! The green tea/rasberry is great as it has no carbonation (swelly belly stuff). Costco has best price for a case of 16 cans. Have not seen this in any store except one week at a Walgreens. After a few days of drinking Celsius you get used to the caffiene content, but it still is a very beneficial, low sodium kick-start beverage.
