Most companies try their hardest to separate themselves from some of the major energy drinks. The drink I am reviewing today actually wants to taste exactly like Red Bull. They are so confident that they sent me a can of their drink and a can of Red Bull so I could compare the two. The reason for this is because Roaring Lion is a solution for bars to be able to offer an energy drink on tap(looks to be a bunch cheaper than Red Bull). Let's see how this drink compares to an industry leader.
The Look: Roaring Lion comes in a blue can with a picture of the outline of a lion done in yellow. They even have a slogan on the front, "Lionize yourself". On the back there is a little bullet list that displays the benefits of the drink (look very similar to Red Bull). The can provides you with the information you need with nothing fancy.

Taste: You like Red Bull? They aren't kidding when they say this taste exactly like Red Bull. So bottom line here is if you like Red Bull then you will love this stuff but if you dislike Red Bull then you will not be impressed. Luckily for me I do like Red Bull so I was impressed that they managed to mimic it exactly.

Does It Work: Once again are you impressed with the buzz and kick of Red Bull? Roaring Lion contains the exact same amount of Niacin, B12, B6, panothenic acid, and I am assuming caffeine (not listed) as Red Bull. In fact the only difference I can find is that the sodium level is higher in Roaring Lion.

Overall Thoughts: If you want a less expensive version of Red Bull then this is a great option. You get the same taste as Red Bull and the same performance as Red Bull for considerably cheaper. Online you can order this in cans, bottles, and even a bag in a box (for bars). The Roaring Lion website can be found here: Roaring Lion. We all know Red Bull is quite expensive so this is a way you can get the same taste but not empty your wallet, give it a try for yourself.
