Hype Energy Organic

I was a little worried about this drink at first because of the word organic.  Usually anything with the word organic translates to not good in my experiences.  Let's see if Hype can change my view on organic products.



The Look:  Hype Organic comes in a green can with pictures of leave in the background.  I really like the green can because it helps with the whole organic theme.  In a large font the word HYPE is printed vertically up the can with a pink outline.  They make mention of the fact the drink is organic on several parts of the can as well.  On the back is the usual nutritional information and ingredients).

The Taste:  When I first opened up the can, I smelled hints of the original Hype but with heavy accents on bubble gum. When I took my first drink the main flavor here is definitely bubble gum.  Mixed in with the bubble gum you can also get light taste of the apple juice as well as a trace of the original Hype.  I really enjoyed the flavor of Hype Organic and found it very refreshing with no aftertaste.

Does It Work: Hype Organic is powered powered by 80 mg of caffeine along with vitamin C, niacin, vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, and pantothenic acid.  Along with the usual energy ingredients Hype Organic also has aloe vera, apple juice and tea extract inside as well.   After drinking down the can in I started to get a very light energy lift that lasted for about 2 and a half hours with no crash.  I would put this drink a little under average in terms of kick.

Overall Thoughts:  Judging by the pink accents all over the can I think Hype Organic is targeting the female demographic for this one.  The taste is very refreshing and the kick is noticeable but not very strong.  If you run across one of these, give it a try and let me know what you think.
